I studied! \o/

Political Science and Statistics tomorrow, and History @ 8AM on Tuesday. Once those are all over, I'm basically done. Journalism doesn't worry me in the slightest. History is kinda terrifying, but the last one I crammed in 4 hours for, and got an A (College: giving me bad habits since 2007). This one's only a little longer, but I'm more familiar with the subject material (thank you, endless Calvinist debates in high school = words I never thought I'd say). I've got it planned out so that I go to bed early and wake up at 5AM so I'm already awake for the test. This, of course, means I'll be completely breaking my iCiNG plans, but eh.

That's not going so well, by the way. e.x; I knew if I tried to change something during finals, it'd end badly. So I'm really going to start back trying on Thursday. I'm going to add "Get on a regular sleeping schedule" to it, as well. I have been doing a few push-ups every night, though. :) I'm going to have Batman muscles. XD

Oh, man. I'm not finished; I still have to read a few more chapters of the Hunter S. Thompson book, and one more section of "Crashing the Gate", but those books are actually entertaining/engrossing to me. I really want to sit down and read through the Thompson one sometime... I don't think I'm going to sell back any of the books I got for that class. :) Too bad a major in political science doesn't do anything for you, cause that's totally where I'd be if it did. That class is the most interesting thing in the whole world to me. I r a geek. *cough*

I can't wait for Thursday. Too much awesome involved for me to not want it to be here. It's only slightly depressing that it's the last time I'll see my roommate, probably ever. We've become pretty great friends, and she's a huge nerd (and for those of you who weren't paying attention to my incoherent rambling last night, a huge Jensen-loving nerd), and I'm just really going to miss her. She's going to Italy for a whole year, then she's probably going to transfer to a different school. So that's depressing as hell.

Fortunately, my epic sadness will be countered by pie, Supernatural, and the beginning of my summer. <3

five more minutes
I'm hearing there are scary, scary *gasp* descriptions out for 3x15. And I really, really don't want to know anymore than I already do. I'm so bad at keep spoiler-free. It's the whole reason I was unable to watch the first season of BSG (Ooooookay.... When do we find out who the cylons are?). I'm too curious. :)

So... I need distractions. I'm choosing to make them take the form of fanfiction. Which I shall be reading vigorously until May 8th. :D

I know this is just the last week of school, but I'm already worried about my roommate next year. I've used up all my geek points this year. :) I hope they at least put up with my SPN rambles; it may be too much to hope for another roommate that takes down all her pictures while packing up to go home, but leaves up the one she had of Jensen... XD Oh, man. Good times.

Ok, I'm rambling again. I ran 3/4 of a mile (for the first time in any serious attempt since last summer, which is probably why I couldn't do the full mile), and I also drank a lot of water, so my transformation challenge is going well. :) My productive thing today was working on some html for my profile. It may be a table, but I did work on it mostly from scratch, so I'm a little proud of myself. :)

I'm currently deciding whether I should buy a wig to continue doing my old and planned cosplays. Apparently I based every costume I ever made on having long, blonde hair. Heh... Plus I have to decided to possibly make a Narcissa Malfoy costume for HBP. I just finished my Luna one, so... who knows..... but it would be awesome. :) Plus, we already have a Bellatrix, so I wouldn't be the odd one out. I just don't know. Apparently I'm both tired and indecisive tonight.

I'm going to sleep/read fanfic before I waste even more time with my rambles. Goodnight, all!
20th-Apr-2008 03:40 pm - The pie is nigh!
regina wink
I've been having conversations with Dayna all day about what kind of pie we're going to make, and how much extra sugar we're going to "accidentally" put in the crust and how much whipped cream and ice cream we're going to need and hoo-boy this pie-day will be EPIC. Thank you, Supernatural, for coming back before everyone goes back home from college so that we can have one more pie-day. <3

I think we're having blackberry. It's gonna be awesome. And studying for finals be damned. :D

*cough*

So starting Monday, I'm going to be taking part in the iCiNG Transformation Challenge because 1) I can and 2) I want to. So you may hear me whine and moan about how much stuff I'm not changing about my life over the next month. XD; Just so y'all know. (Also, Gala's blog is fantastic and grand and generally happy-inducing. <3)

Here are my goals:
1) Work-out in some capacity every day (I'm going to at least be doing a ridiculous number of pushups just so I can get into some kind of respectable muscley shape for Batman. Err! :D)
2) No cokes. At all. Whatsoever. It's doable, but during finals week, I may have to turn to coffee to keep myself awake which frightens me. O.O;
3) Do something productive/creative every day (Draw, write, learn some ukulele, write a paper, study, etc)(You'd be amazed how unproductive my days generally are *headdesk*)
4) Get outside at least once every day. Maybe for a walk or something. It's just so nice out! :D

So those are my goals. I'm going to break every single one of them by the end of the week, but I'm going to angst over it for the rest of the month, so it'll be alright. :)

I'm actually supposed to be writing my career paper right now, but everyone knows that won't even get started til around 11:00PM. No matter how much I tell myself that I'm starting at 5:00PM. I really am. Seriously, now.
