I'm still not back 100%, but I wanted to pop on in with an art rec because I have these bucketloads of squee I must share with someone. :)

As some of you might know, my first fandom was for the Xbox game "Knights of the Old Republic". Now, we had some seriously talented fanartists, but my favorite was probably Aimo. She always had fantastic comics, and her marker skills are the subject of my constant envy. Anyways, I still watch her on Deviantart, and she was recently commissioned to do a picture for Supernatural.

It's just as fantastic as everything else she's ever done, and I thought some of you might appreciate it. :) So, yeah. Go have a look!

Um, turns out we're leaving tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn. I may not survive. If I don't, watch Batman and Supernatural in my memory, and um. Eat pie.

I should be back on Tuesday, but if we get stuck shopping, I'll be back late enough that it'll practically be Wednesday. This time, we're prepared with the car entertainment, though. :) I have Space Mutiny, Spinal Tap, Supernatural, Firefly, Holy Grail, AND Empire Strikes Back. Also, my brother is bringing my Xbox and Gladius. Which means I'll be complaining about how his strategies are stupid, and he always gets us killed. :D Ah, the joy of siblinghood.

So, yeah. Since I won't be back til late, and my picture for mindykim is only in the preliminary sketch stage, I can't promise I'll have it done by the deadline next week. I'm really sorry about that, and I will try to have it finished as soon as I possibly can.

For now, it's off to sleep because if I have any less than seven hours tonight, I'll probably kill someone tomorrow. I won't have internet, but I might have my phone if anyone needs me for dire Wall-E fangirling, or to discuss the merits of fake rockumentaries.

So, tomorrow, in the course of getting tickets for Batman, we might go see Wall*E.

I AM WAY TOO EXCITED.

Pixar always finds a way to warm the cockles of my black, black soul. I love their movies, and Ratatouille was especially amazing, which means they're just getting better. This movie's trailer makes me cry with happiness and child-like joy.

I'm way excited.

*cough*

So yeah, anyways. My dad was recently given some Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Graeter's Ice Cream (YES IN ALL CAPS, IT IS THAT HOLY), and if you haven't ever eaten this, you know not my joy. There are chunks of chocolate in this stuff that you can't even imagine. I can have some whenever I want until we run out of it. It's seriously hampering my attempts to eat healthier. But it's so damn delicious. <3333

Also, I'm working on a new video for tahu's friend about Cloverfield that is fast turning into the crackiest thing I have ever made. This is not an understatement, and I've made some cracky things. Just ask Michael Rosenbaum.

It begins again; I am unable to sleep at night because there is just so much going on.

Today was especially eventful, but we'll get to that later.

First, I gotta take the time to say we're going on vacation from Friday through next Monday, so I won't be online at all this weekend. Take care of the internets for me while I'm gone. ;)

Alright, so... I was really spoilerphobic during the finale. That tactic failed miserably, so... I think I'm taking things the exact opposite direction. This means I've read the sides, something I've never done for anything before (except Dollhouse, but that's different. Totally, totally different.).

Anyways, I'm really delving into this spoiler thing for the first episode because October is way too far away. I'm thinking about making a filter, so if you'd like to be put on a spoiler-tastic filter, let me know. :)

I read them here, but I'd been hearing second-hand accounts of them all day. Everyone kept talking about how they couldn't figure out who Guy was, and that Kristy sounded a lot like Ruby.

Well, guys, "Guy" is Dean. It's painfully, painfully obvious. All the regular Dean-related jokes are in there, and he's just way too much of a smartass not to be. People were saying he had to be really old, as Sam refers to him as his father in one of the sides, but that's just stupidity. The girl he says it to isn't very convinced. Also, why would we get a whole scene about how "Guy" is so insecure and doesn't think he deserved to be saved? That's just madness.

Also, I'm thinking Kristy gets possessed by Ruby somewhere in the middle of the episode, because she starts acting exactly like her at the end.

Also, Lazarus is that guy in the Bible that Jesus raised from the dead because he was too busy frolicking off somewhere else for a few weeks, and didn't get there in time to save him while he was still sick. He'd been dead for 3 weeks. And he woke up all zombie-like. Basically, my umpteen years of Bible classes in K-12 are finally paying off. XD; But srsly, this is a horribly, terribly obvious episode name. I hope they change it. To the name of a Led Zeppelin song. ~~Custard Pie!~~ What I'm trying to say is that there's probably a link between the fact that Lazarus was raised a while after he'd been dead, and Dean being the same way. Though I'm pretty sure Kripke said Dean'd be more like 6 months.

Aaaaaanyway. I don't see how the sides are that confusing. Most of them seem like they're scenes that won't end up in the episode. My thoughts on the matter are that these are audition sides to cast the roles, and drive the fangirls crazy. Except they're coding Dean's name (and poorly), so... yeah. I'm still very confused, but I love the idea that they're bringing in someone named after the "Angel of Thursday". Does our Show have its own personal angel? Of course it does. ;)

So, yeah. Let me know about that filter, and any other spoilers you might find. I'll be up all night!

Before I got sick this weekend, I did manage to get something done in betwixt the baseball-watching and corn-attack-avoiding. So here's my second gift for spn_buddy.

This one is for meijerirock, who asked for Sam wearing flannel, and as plaid lumberjack shirts are what come to mind when I hear that word, I got all excited. I love drawing plaid. :D

Hope you like it! :D It may be one of the last pictures I do with my Prisma markers in a while; I'm still learning a lot about using them, and they've gotten a lot of use lately, so I'll probably switch to pencils or Photoshop for a few weeks. It's how I roll.

Alright, back to laying in bed and eating soup (<3) and watching "To Catch a Predator" on youtube!

I pretty much live at randomfangirl29's house now. I'm going back Thursday I think, to watch er... Bedtime Stories, is it? I have no idea anymore. I don't think I've seen that one more than once, which is... weird. Especially for this season, which we have watched to death. BUT I DIGRESS.

I've been really, really happy lately. I've been working at my mom's again, doing little odds and ends stuff, but working, and thus earning a paycheck, so that's good. I've been going out to Elizabeth's, which entails eating food and good times. I've been entertaining delusions of winning the "Making the Cut" contest, whilst plotting to take Elizabeth with me should I win by pretending to be conjoined twins or something insane like that (full disclosure: she's about a foot shorter than I am). I'm really sad they're judging the contest; my delusions will have to be actual delusions now that they're completely unrealistic. Which is sad. I like my delusions.

But I haven't even watched my video again since I put it up; I'm rather ashamed of it's badness. Also it's 36 seconds long. So there's that. But enough about my self-loathing.

I've also been ~~subtly~~ indoctrinating tahu into watching Supernatural. I made her watch the first five minutes of Ghostfacers, and also I've not shut up about it for five minutes. D: I've become that person I hate that's always like "OMG YOU HAVE TO SEEEEEE THIIIIIIIIIIIIIS", and for that I am eternally shamed.

So, I joined spn_buddy in the vain hope of keeping myself occupied during the hiatus, then promptly discovered that I am really not capable of doing anything in a timely manner. At all. Who knows, though. Maybe this will cure me of that? I'm hoping. Not very hard, but I'm hoping.

But, yeah. I didn't really have any ideas, and sense there wasn't a theme for the first exchange, I drew notyourstarx0 Sam. Gratuitously shirtless, because I enjoy drawing arms. It's not very imaginative or original, but it's what my brain came up with; I suppose I should just be glad it's not a whale.

I am still hopelessly bad at drawing anything that remotely resembles Jared's face. I ~~blame him for this entirely~~ wish I could, and really the only way to get better is through practice, so... practice I shall. But for now, here he is. :)

Ok, I told myself I wasn't going to do this, but here I am, so I'll just get it over with. I haven't read the replies to my previous post yet, but I wanted to thank those of you who've left them. Every now and then, I get into a funk where I just don't want to deal with something anymore, for whatever reason, so I don't. I'm probably going to go through it all tomorrow, or sometime this week. So y'all will probably get replies from me and wonder what that's all about. So there's that.

Speaking of things that I just stop dealing with after a while, the Chapter 4 Oekaki is most likely going to be shut down. I don't know if anyone on my flist even uses it anymore, which really speaks to the fact that... I haven't been there since I started school in the fall. Anyways, I don't go there, its largely inactive, and its getting the hell spammed out of it. So when my family switches hosting companies, I'm just going to let it die a quiet death. It's kind of sad, cause I've run it for years, and its where I learned a lot artistically, and made some really great friends/met some really amazing artists. I wish we could go back to the heyday, but that's just not going to happen. Ah, well. Good times were had.

In other, brighter news, I downloaded "Heavenly Creatures" today. Apparently it's a spectacular movie for which Peter Jackson is responsible, so randomfangirl29 and I are going to watch it tomorrow. Maybe. If we don't just spend all our time watching con videos. :)

1. Do you have any phobias (in addition to moist wipes!)? Ok, so... I have an irrational fear of those moist wipe things they give you with messy food and such. I have a special fear of the ones at Tony Roma's, as they've found a way to make them more terrifying: they're huge and warm. Anyways, I don't like to touch, look at, or think about them. I have no idea why. My family, of course, thinks this is the height of hilarity.

Other phobias/irrational fears I have include the dark, fictional movies shot like a documentary/they're real, Alternate-reality Games, and guacamole.

2. When you get home from work or school, what is the first thing you do? I wish I could say something cool, but I usually just get on my computer, and start going through Reddit or Livejournal. Or I find something to eat.

3. When you go to see a movie do you sneak in candy or buy it at the concession stand? Being a professional-movie-goer and all-around sticker-of-things-to-the-man, I go on a Target or Meijer run before all movies. Generally Hot Tamales are purchased, and because they come in a box the size of the moon and none of us carry a purse, problems arise. Last time, I stuck them in my jeans. There are no lengths I won't go to to ensure a sugar-filled viewing of any movie.

4. If you could take a 2 week vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Oh man, that's a really tough question. I've only been out of the US once, so I pretty much still want to go everywhere. If I had to choose? It'd be either Australia or New Zealand, cause a friend of mine went there, and she had an awesome time, and they're very pretty, and really, I just would wander around and look at trees and animals and stuff and <333333.

It's finished, and I'm super proud of it. :) This is the first picture I've done from the ground up in Photoshop in a LONG time, so... I've made a break-through. Plus it's not just my generic pose. I AM SO BREAKING OUT OF THE BOX, GUYS! :D

Oh, and there's still a slight warning for gore/meathooks in effect.

I can't get over the fact that I'm actually proud of this picture; that never happens, heh. Just yaaaay! :)

He came up and asked if we could watch Supernatural today. Heh... He occasionally watches if he sees hilarity or Henricksen, but he's never seen the end of Bad Day at Black Rock, so I taped it for him last night. Of course, I also had Ghostfacers downloaded to my computer in anticipation of tomorrow night's marshmallow/Belmont festivities, so we watched that one, too.

He admitted he really likes the show, but that I wasn't allowed to tell his friends because "it's a girl show". XD Don't tell the CW Execs. :P I'm going to show him Folsom Prison Blues next time he's bored. It's the only Henricksen one he hasn't seen. I may also show him Houses of the Holy because I am biased terribly. *cough*

Anyways, yes. :) Tonight I bring you sketchery and links to all sorts of entertaining things. :D But first things first.

Yeah, apparently I really, really like drawing Dean in suffering. Maybe I should take out some of this aggression on Sam sometime.... x) *cough* But yeah... I actually just had my Iron Man action figure sitting up on my dresser like this, so I started sketching in Photoshop. I just got my tablet working, so expect cleaner cut... everything. :) Also lots of really crappy sketches. XD; The anatomy on this isn't great, but it was nice to work on for a little while. I may revisit it with color if only because I love coloring gore. We may never know why I'm this messed up in the head. *le sigh*

I've also accumulated a few links of interest over the past few days, and have decided to share them with the world. :)

Tonight was glorious, as I knew it would be. :D

A small rundown of our crack.
1) We watched: Dark Angel, Supernatural, Smallville, and The Princess Bride. Our day was quite Jensen-tastic.
2) WATCH THE SMALLVILLE BLOOPER REELS. THEY ARE ON YOUTUBE. MICHAEL ROSENBAUM, YOU ARE EPIC LOVE. MARRY ME NOW.
3) We decided Kripke should name the Season 4 Premiere "Hugs". Who's with us?
4) - The Pussycat Dolls' new song "When I grow up" will be the new anthem of the CW, and they will play it as Jared, Jensen, and Mr. Welling (with special cameo appearance by 1 Mr. Rosenbaum) gyrate in what is sure to be the most successful marketing ploy the network has ever created. That song terrifies me in ways I didn't know I could be terrified.
5) Princess Buttercup is a worthless piece of crap and Westley should dump her for one of the ROUS. They clearly love him.
6) We were going to salt and burn the skittles that were lost to us during an unfortunate dropping of the giant skittles bag, but.... We weren't allowed anywhere near fire. Ah well. It's for the best.

ANYWAYS. I'm going back over there Saturday for the Belmont, and we may roast marshmallows. This activity would combine my love of fire and sugar, and be THE GREATEST THING EVER. SRSLY. <3

In other news, I got sorta sucked in to the icon fest over at ohnokripkedidnt. I'm going to put a little grouping of the icons I've made here, just because I can. And because they're all really weirdly different than what I usually do. :)

Mental note for the future: Apparently when my father says "We'll go out for dinner after your brother's game", what he really means is there's no food in the house, he took the only car, and he'll be back in 5 hours so have fun. *headdesks repeatedly*

My mom is only going to be gone for 3 days, but they're going to be three days of "Sara, why aren't you smiling NO SERIOUSLY WHY ARE YOU IN A BAD MOOD I'M BUYING YOU FOOD JUST LIKE I PROMISED".

I'm going to randomfangirl29's house tomorrow, though. We will watch "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Bad Day at Black Rock" and drink Mountain Dew. It is going to be glorious. :D

So... I've made a video about Dean, and one about Bela, but not one about Sam. And what's that about, anyway. So in my never-ending quest to learn how to use After Effects, I've decided to do something about this. So... you can help me in picking a song. :D Which... ~~you know... would work better if I put them online~~ is what Muxtape was made for! :D Except, it won't upload anything that isn't an *.mp3, so... He's kind of a superhero. But he has many other activities.

Some of which involve being overly effeminate, and others which involve ~~raising the roof~~ ruling the world with an iron fist.

He's pretty much cooler than you could ever hope to be and WE ARE SO GOING ON ADVENTURES TOMORROW. <3

So... explanation? I've been meaning to buy an action figure of some sort to practice drawing different poses. Why an action figure and not one of those wooden dolls that are made for the purpose? 1) He was cheaper, and 2) Omg he's so much more fun. ;) Plus, he has a gun, which is fantastic for shooting my brother. In the dark. BECAUSE IT GLOWS. Oh yes. <3

In other news, I'm thinking about selling some of my stuff on ebay. I have a rather small collection of Breyers that I'd like to make even smaller, if it means I can trade some of the horses for cash money. Some I'm kinda attached to, but others not so much. :) We used to go to Breyerfest because it was just down the road, and we'd show them, and prance around, and have awesome times. <3

I've been looking on ebay all night trying to figure out which ones I have that are even worth any money, and it turns out the one I kept in the box? Worth $40. GO ME. *takes a bow* I wish I had the guts to sell my porcelain one, but... I love him too much/shipping would be ridiculous. Heh. O.o;

Anyways, I have a huuuuge collection of the smallest sized ones, because I used to paint them on occasion. With chalk pastels. It was intense. So, it turns out the smallest sized ones are worth maybe $3 a piece, and so I'm wondering if I shouldn't paint them all to sell. Of course, I'm rather amateurish at painting them, so I thought I might offer to do what I did for randomfangirl29, and paint them to look like an actual horse. I may have to take pictures of the one I did for her, because he was adorable, and also a paint, so... he was a little more complicated than the one I did of Cigar. But the one I did of Cigar actually placed in a show, so... that was pretty awesome (I asked the judge what to do to make him better, and she told me to drill out his ears. Yeah. Not happening. O.o;)

That's the size they all are. They're kind of adorable. :)

That's the one I painted to look like Cigar. Please excuse my terribly disheveled appearance. *cough* He does have a few visible paint marks, but I'm fairly certain I'd be able to do much better than that now. :) Or at least I'm willing to give it a shot. I've got one that I'm painting as Spider-man right now, so... that may or may not turn out better. :)

I guess what I'm asking is, what do y'all think I should charge if I do custom ones for people of their horses? And where should I advertise? I haven't got a clue. Though I was thinking something around $20 + shipping for the custom horses. Maybe $17? I dunno... They're a lot of work, but my craftsmanship isn't the greatest. I really need to find a way to upload a better picture... heh. ^_^;;

Burninating the peasants: TROGDOR!!! *air guitars* I used to be rather obsessed with Homestar Runner, and while I'm not too much anymore, I still go back and watch some of the old ones every now and then for a laugh. Trogdor = the best moment of the whole thing ever, because the word "burninator" was coined, and the world has never been the same. *nods sagely*
Classic rock: My dad has all of these Kansas and Boston CDs that I heard growing up, and right after I grew out of my emo phase, I went straight back to 'em. Boston is still one of my favorite bands, but now I've most certainly added a healthy appreciation for Led Zeppelin and Heart. <3

Monty Python: <33333333333333333333 I was watching the Cheese Shop sketch at work during my lunch break the other day. John Cleese is ABSOLUTE LOVE. I was introduced to this at a fairly young age through The Holy Grail movie, and I've been watching the skits on youtube ever since the thought to do so occurred to me one day.
Haldir: Hee! Back when I was way obsessed with LotR (me and randomfangirl29 apparently can only focus on one thing at a time. Now it's Supernatural. Yeah.), I was SUPER obsessed with Haldir. He was awesome. And he TOTALLY DID NOT DIE. Oh, the obscene amounts of denial I went into for him. <3
Ukulele: Eugene! :D My ukulele! :) I decided around October-November last year after seeing Amanda Palmer play "Umbrella" on a ukulele that I wanted one. And I told my roommate this, and she laughed, and then was like "You are so not getting a ukulele and playing it all the time in this dorm room, I will kill you." But I got it anyway, and then she made me serenade her with the sweet, sweet, vaguely Hawaiian sounds that emanated from it and OH DAYNA I MISS YOU! D:

Ok, and a small roommate-related story because of that last one: The other day I was on Facebook, and Dayna left me a message saying "I hate my life", and I was all "OH NOES, HORRIBLE THINGS ARE HAPPENING TO DAYNA! D:" BUT THEN when I asked what was wrong, she was like "'No Rest for the Wicked'. I THINK NO FURTHER WORDS ARE NECESSARY."

Y'all. I corrupted my poor roommate. And I love her for letting me do that. XD

Ok. Y'all have got to continue to remember that I have only seen Raiders of the Lost Ark and a very small bit of The Last Crusade. This means that I went to this movie for 1) Harrison Ford, 2) Shia LeBeouf, and 3) Lots and lots of ACTION-y bits.

This is not a deep movie. From what I understand, it's not MEANT to be a deep movie. It's also about aliens, which I understand threw a lot of people. But I knew George Lucas was involved, so I was like "P'shaw, aliens, whatever", and moved on. Except the last 10 minutes of the movie did suck. BUT ROMG HARRISON FORD HAS SUPERPOWERS AND COULD SURVIVE BEING THROWN IN THE REFRIDGERATOR AMIDST A NUCLEAR ATTACK!!! Go see this movie now. :) It's funny, action-y, and adorable. Ok, wait for the $1 movie. <3 Also, me and Maegan are building a time machine so it's ok for us to be in love with Harrison Ford. *le sigh*

Now that that's out of the way, I'm starting to get seriously worried about finishing my Batman costume. It really needs some work; the utility belt hasn't even been started. I really need to get to the store to buy some kind of fabric for the pouches, and maybe some clasps. I also need to work on scalloping my cape so it's more Batman-y. Not to mention I need to make my shirt. Yeah... my costume's going just fine. *headdesk*

Oh! Last night two ~~delightful~~ things happened. :)

I loooooooooove them. They were $18 (I <3 75% off sales), and full of <3333333. I had a black pair like this a little while ago, but one of the shoes was too big. I don't know why. These are a size 9, which is a size smaller than I usually wear, but... whatever! I don't care! Shoes! HOORAY. *ignores the fact that she is 6'0" tall in any heels at all, and just goes with it*

And oh, yeah, I popped my knee out of the joint and then back in. O.O I've always had knee problems, but its never... slid around like that... it was weird, it hurt a ton, and I hope to never repeat the experience. It's still really sore this morning, and I'm pissed because I was going to run this morning. Alas.

Oooooooookay. Here's the story: I drew a picture 3 1/2 years ago, and put it up on DevArt. Since I refuse to get a new account on that site, or to delete my old art, it's still up there. It's terrible (warning: not for the faint of heart). It also happens to get favorited/commented on randomly all the damn time. Which is creepy, cause it's pretty buried in the bowels of the internet, far as I'm concerned. But it's a piece of fanart for a really obscure book and thus, anyone whose ever read it or liked it comes to look at my picture.

Anyways, I've always said I'd redraw a picture of those two, even though I don't really even particularly like the books anymore, just so people wouldn't look at that picture anymore. I began to do so earlier this week (it's like my 15th attempt... they always turn out horribly for some reason *headdesk*). This one is finally passable, and I like it, and I'm going ahead with coloring.

But as I was coloring, a thought struck me. The look on the girl's face is friggin' SPASTIC. And I love that about it, but... couple that with the fact that the guy looks a tiny, tiny bit like Robert Pattinson if you cover one eye and close the other and.... I kinda want to turn it into cracky Twilight fanart. With unicorns and rainbows and SPARKLES in the background. Even though I've never read Twilight. I just enjoy the crack it creates. *cough*

Anyone have any thoughts?

Alright... summer is pretty officially upon us. *headdesk*

So... anyone got any recommendations for things I should get obsessive over this summer? :D I'd really like book recs, but movie/anime/tv recs are also entirely awesomely acceptable.

I'm already thinking about watching Wolf's Rain because of tahu, but I reeeeeeeeeally need something good to read... heh.

Dude, I'm getting ridiculously excited about tomorrow. :D "No Virginia" is coming out, as well as the Muse DLC for Rock Band, and I am just MUSIC'D OUT what with all my excitement. :) I even drew a picture of Amanda Palmer whilst printing once again (I'm basically printing and binding about 6 different copies of books; it's sorta crazy and/or ridiculous, and most certainly not what I signed up for, but hey! I'm getting paid! \o/), and I sorta like the way it turned out.

I don't know if I'm going to color it, but... the legs definitely need some work. :/

I'm really starting to feel a bit of burning out coming on, though I don't know what for. I think it's because I"m staying up too late at night to physically be able to deal with getting up at 7AM every morning. Factor in the fact that I walk home about twice a week (I loooooove doing this. And will never trade my peaceful walk home whilst listening to the cheesiest possible metal for the WORLD. <3), and I'm just about feeling dead. I may take a small break from... everthing, so....... er.... Don't wonder if I fell in a pit (I probably did.) cause I'm just sleeping?

As for the title of this post, I was checking through my last.fm page this morning, and noticed that Coldplay was my top-played artist for the week. D: They released new tracks from their new album. They sound different/more better, I swear! THEIR MUSIC IS LIKE AURAL CRACK! Plus, I think one of the new songs is about Louis XIV, who I had to spend a lot of time learning about in my History class last semester, so I feel slightly justified. It makes me feel smart. Actually, I think I'm just gonna go with the crack thing. It seems to be my excuse for everything.
